Loft Conversion Design by Julian Adams
30 years experience in loft conversions has seen over 3000 plans drawn, each representing a successful project completed. Apart from the design itself, it is crucial to have a smooth liaison with Building Control and Planners, and building contractors, to achieve a 'seamless process' throughout the project.
The design process usually looks like this:-

1. Meeting & discussion, and measuring the whole property
2. Draft layout plans produced, which can be adjusted as required
+ 3. Full detailed plans and structural calculations
The structural calculations are done in house, at the same time as the plans, to achieve an integrated and "buildable" design in one go.
+ 4. Building Regulations approval
Full Building Regulations are obtained on every design.
+ 5. Planning Permission (where required)
Where required we will liaise with the local planning department and obtain full planning permission first of all.
